Growing up, I had dreams of becoming a full-time, successful author. When I turned 30 (yes, 30 years old, so you know that you’re NOT too “old” and it’s never “too late”), I decided it was time to turn that dream into a reality, so in 2014 I started my first Instagram page - The Crimson Kiss - and began posting mini stories (quotes, basically) of my journey through toxic relationships and personal accountability. Just shy of a year later I would release my first book - Letters to My Ex - to an amassed audience of about 30k, then go on to release several other books over ten years to an audience that kept growing. I turned my dream of becoming a full-time, successful author into a reality, but…

I had to learn how to do everything on my own in order to make that happen. 

I had to learn how to design my own book covers, design my own ebook interiors, host my own ebooks on my own website, build my own website, create my own posts that made people want to stick around and actually read them, market my own books and ebooks, speak with my audience - I had to teach myself how to do it all, and as frustrating as it was for me throughout the years, looking back, I’m grateful that I had to teach myself all those things, because now, ten years later, I’m equipped with the knowledge to teach you.
