Hi :)

I don’t want to make this message too long, but many of you have been rocking with me for a really long time, so it’s only right I give you some context.

I started my journey with The Crimson Kiss when I was in my late twenties. It’s where I found my voice, where I made my dream of becoming an author come true, and it’s where you let me into your world as your Internet Big Sis — the girl you knew would always keep it real.

I’m proud of what I built here. What I created.

Know that this space shaped me just as much as anything I’ve written and/or taught has shaped you.

But I’ve grown over the past thirteen years. A lot.

I’m not the girl I was in my late twenties or early thirties, and healing from toxic relationships (the thing you know me for writing and teaching about) is so far behind me now that I just can’t keep reaching back to that place anymore. And The Crimson Kiss and Sis, Get Your Ish Together — as brands and as extensions of past versions of myself — both represent that place.

Now that I’ve been in a different season of life, of womanhood, for a good while, it’s only right that the work I’m focused on reflects that.

That said, allow me to reintroduce myself:

My name is Mrs. Cynthia .B (but yes, you can still call me B.)
I’m the mentor and coach you come to when you’re genuinely ready to get out of your own way. When you have the audacity to redefine your life.

While I won’t be posting on social media anymore, my work will continue through weekly emails. And just so there's no confusion: these emails aren’t meant to replace Instagram posts. They are not “content”. They’re not for entertainment purposes.

On the contrary, they are work, created intentionally and specifically for the women who are in a chapter of their lives that demands their full attention and commitment… to themselves.
